So. Revenge of the board exam. I need to retake part of it next year in Atlanta (so not happy about that, I can't even tell you) and about two weeks ago I got a phone call from the car rental company in San Antonio. I was told when I dropped off the car at DFW that it was fine and I didn't have to do anything else. Apparently, they store their cars or something, and someone at the storage facility states there are scratches on the back of the trunk. Apparently the person that rented the car before me had noted those, and on my rental it wasn't noted on the paperwork. So basically, they're planning on dinging me for it.
I just called their damage recovery department and let them know that whatever scrapes were there was listed on my original paperwork from San Antonio. I also let him know that DFW staff never mentioned anything to me and told me I was fine to catch my flight. So he's kicking it back to their assessment department to see what the matter is.
