Eight weeks in
So far, so good. Maybe too good. Other than the queasiness I had three weeks ago, there hasn't been anything at all happening other than exhaustion to mark off the first trimester. (No, really, I'm not complaining!) There are times when I'm hungrier already, too. I did notice Tuesday when we picked up Zach from day care that my stomach is far rounder than I would expect for eight weeks. It was enough for Jason to pat my stomach and ask how many are in there. I figure my body was waiting until I didn't need to be in the suit anymore in order to pop. But it's kind of ridiculous to have to break out the maternity gear in the first trimester! We're hoping for a single kaiju. Our house isn't big enough for four kids, us and a dog, and I'll likely need a bigger car.
