I've been exhausted lately, but wonderfully, it's not the flu shot. The nurse this year gave me good advice, to take an antihistamine when I got home. I took a Zyrtec and so far, no fever or chills. I forgot to take one last night, mostly because I passed out on the couch after putting Zach to bed. Maddy got me her pillow and put a blanket over me, and started to read me some Dr. Seuss. I slept through most of it, tbh. Then I woke up long enough to put her to bed, then I went to bed myself at 8:20 pm last night. I still feel draggy.

I did get my Yuletide assignment and started scribbling a story practically right away, and while I brought the kids to the library for Story Time. It's a simple little thing so far, but I kind of like it. Bumbling character fail galore, and I want to smoosh his gobsmacked reaction. hee.

I had messaged the Sunday gaming group, and if Jay continues to be tapped to work on Sundays, I offered to run a game. I'll do Vampire: the Masquerade, which I hadn't played in years. Jason figures I should start with something small and simple, since the guys tend to be number crunchers and more interested in combat than heavier RP. In fact one already messaged me asking how evil he can make his character. haha.

yuletide, cute kid stories, gaming geekery, health
