photo update
i haven't done a picspam in a while. I've been working on game stuff, mainlining "Shakugan no Shana" with Jason or English version Cardcaptors with Maddy. She's also loving eps of "The Littles" that we borrowed from the library. Ah, nostalgia. :)
since i'm not always on the computer in the evenings, we might as well get a post from my phone. :)
They had a small area with animals at the air show. Maddy did great with the pony ride and feeding some animals.
Here's our little man waiting for his hearing check. He thought it was awesome to hang out and play. The tubes are working great, so his next well check on them is in November.
Jason's grandfather passed away, and we didn't go for the funeral. he gets skeeved out by them, and the kids don't understand it. (maddy still thinks Grandpa Jake will wake back up and come visit.) It turns out we thankfully avoided drama. we spent the weekend at the park. Zach is learning about steps. i didn't get a pic, but Maddy found a Maddy from day care to play with, rinning around *everywhere.* she gets an attitude and is willful, but we're working on it. She's doing well in 4K as far as we can tell, though she doesn't feel like they're doing anything different yet. "I think all we do is play."
Rain coming down sideways, hail and the tornado alarms going off. yeah, we're not going to the ice cream social with the kids tonight. We had sundaes at home right before the hail came down. as i type this (i'm slower on the phone) it comes and goes, so we probably don't have to hide in the basement tonight. Indy is not amused by my picture taking, but Maddy is. She's the one that took the pic of me. :)
Not that you can see it in this pic, but she also plays with actual reflex hammers and a real single-bell stethoscope. (I keep my Littman or blood pressure cuffs out of her hands!)
