(no subject)
Some days, like the past several, have been ZOMG BUSY up to my eyeballs. Monday one of my intakes was nearly two hours, and I had three that day.
Today, I was also supposed to have three. Supposed to. Somehow, I have had no shows since lunch. And currently my 3:40 isn't here yet and I'm not terribly hopeful about it. I've written some more in fics (I think I may be finishing up two more), edited a chapter, done Actual Work for referrals, phone calls and prepping for more intakes eventually, caught some scheduling snafus from when I change the pump break times in June and worked on a patient letter.
If I had known, I could have probably worked on my Pathfinder character for tonight's Society game. Tho I decided to go simple and make a barbarian as my backup. If someone dies tonight, I'll make the dual wielding swordfighting monk or an oracle, but the barbarian was easy to pull together in about an hour or two. Hopefully it's not another TPK, which Jay has managed to do two out of three times now. It's the same part of the module, apparently. Barbarians wielding great axes just hit too damn hard.
I also find it hilarious that one of the guys wants to start up an online RP since two out of them work third shift. He's now looking to LJ for an RP rather than going the route of Yahoo groups. I did tell him about the different e-mail/group/LJ games I'd been in, and he likes LJ the best. We'll see what happens with that. He wants to put together a Star Trek game in the post-Enterprise era. I hope he has notes for what constitutes canon, since I've never seen that show and it's been ages since I've seen any Trek stuff. We'll see what he says at the Society game tonight.
