Quick OB check today for week 36 and the GBS test. I've gained one more pound, my BP was 108/58, UA negative and the spawn's HR was in the 130's. He's been pretty active lately, which is very good. I was basically reminded that the delivery will go faster this time than with Madison, so if I feel it's time to go to the hospital, don't wait as long as I did last time unless I want to deliver at home. Uh, no, I know where my limitations are, thanks. :)
I handed over my patient list and went over the potentially problematic things that the others will have to deal with. I only have a handful of unstable patients out of a total of 398. So, not too bad. Still, is it sad that when I was done, I was told that this is above and beyond what they expected? The NP then asked if I was OCD. ::facepalm:: Am I the only one that thinks it's a good policy to give my coworkers a heads up for things they may have to cover while I'm gone for six weeks? I wouldn't do this for a day off here or there, or even when I was away for my Board review I didn't bother. But this is a month and a half. For unstable people, it's a freaking lifetime, and I wasn't going to make them scroll through an entire chart to figure out what to suggest.
In more fun news, I have two more fics to post to complete my h/c bingo blackout. Still waiting on the remainder of that one scene to complete my IBB, and I'm starting to poke at the backlog of kink meme prompts I'd snagged. I have some unexpected cancellations right now, so I actually did my nails. I'll throw on another coat, maybe put on the crackle stuff today if I don't get into writing something. I was thinking of prepping a little something for Yuletide Madness, since I have another 40 min free.
I probably should use the time turner icon, since it fits the theme better, but Sam Worthington is much prettier to look at. :)
