Eames, you win points to about infinity for what you said to Georgia and then Nikolas. Arthur gets points too for stepping up initially and getting Ari out of there. I really want to break the fourth wall of fiction now and punch Georgia's lights out.

They're such a tight trio, that they really do take care of each other against all outside hardships. And that definitely includes family when they truly fuck up. I didn't go out of my way to make Georgia a nasty woman. She's just so very self absorbed that other peoples' feelings just don't figure into her view of the world. If she doesn't like it, it simply doesn't matter.

This isn't making me any less inclined to hit her.

LOL.

That's perfectly okay... I had that urge, too. :D

I'm so happy to see a family piece!! It's always intrigued me how they would handle the situation? Do they tell? How will it be taken?

Wonderfully done.. and poor, poor Ari. Great installment!!

Thanks so much. Ariadne definitely would've told her family in a roundabout way when it started out, but of course her parents didn't get it. She and Ariston have always been close, so while he may go O_o, he trusts her judgment in this. His trust in them is what lets Rebecca push aside her own O_o feeling about it.

Plus, Rebecca likes Ariadne. So of course she'd band together with her against Georgia. :)

Eames was actually very polite about it, considering he wanted to knock Georgia's teeth in. lol. He was a little surprised that Ariadne was as honest about it as she was, but it's a very Ariadne thing to do, to jump right in and worry about consequences later.

Well, Ariadne's already a bit distanced because of how nasty Georgia could be, so it wouldn't hurt worse if her parents didn't want to talk to her about being part of a triad. She and her brother are really close in this 'verse, so Ariston would put aside his O_o feelings to support her.

Rebecca didn't add anyone to the bridal party, actually. There really would have been an uneven party, which she can't stand. She likes things settled and fair, so that's another reason why she and Ariadne bond.

Lovely ending to a very angsty fic. I'm glad the buys were with her on this trip home. It's too bad her mother isn't a better person, but she's very fortunate in her brother, Rebecca, and her lovers. Her still seems a bit of a willfully blind man, so I'm reserving judgment there.

Thanks for posting!:)

Sometimes families are nothing but drama. Considering Georgia is so superficial and self centered, this family reunion really couldn't be anything but drama. The boys definitely balance out Ariadne, which is why it works so well. Rebecca has no idea what she's supporting, but she's a sweetheart and is really trying to be part of the family and she does like Ariadne a lot. Nikolas just has no concept of how caustic Georgia can be, since he's so laid back.

Arthur's mom is such a contrast, I can't wait to see everyone's response to her. ;)

Mothers... they can be so harsh. *cuddles Ariadne* Eames was amazing, and Arthur was great as well. <3

Georgia is self centered and really has no concept of letting her adult children grow up and want things of their own. She still sees them as a reflection of her, and still wants to pull strings and make them jump. As far as I'm concerned, this would explain why Ariadne is unfazed by illegal activities and dream share... anything is better than growing up with that situation.

Her boys are so supportive and protective, each in their own way. I really do love how far Eames has come over the course of this series. :)
