(no subject)
The retreat last night was prolly equally boring and useful. I met a bunch of the docs referring patients to me, which was nice. I may even remember all of the faces to go with the names. ;) There was a lot of boring bits that don't immediately apply to me in terms of what the hospital is doing in retention of docs, the latest issues with Medicare coming up with ways to avoid reimbursement and paperwork issues. Then we went into communication styles and how to communicate with each other. I think it completely explained why that patient's sister and I clashed so hard yesterday, even without her current hatred of the medical system and meds in general.
The thing started late and ran over on top of that, so I mostly hung out with Jay afterward and talked. It was nice! We don't do that enough. lol. He already started getting the basement ready for Maddy's party tomorrow morning. It's going to be adorable. :)
But, with other prep work (mostly cleaning, bleh) I dunno if I'll be online tonight or not. I miss it already, really. :)
