So long you've waited...
Jay's new computer arrived today. And woe, it has 2 2G cards in it instead of one 4G card, and apparently his old computer had 2 1G RAM chips. So we remain with the same amount as we started with. Opening up my computer caused some issues for a while, but she seems okay now. (Yes, my computer is a she. Her name is Serenity. Shut up.)
Off to check mail and my flist and stuff...
ETA: And apparently even our backwater theater took Inception off its playlist. ::cries:: I was hoping to see that on Friday!
ETA The Second: So all the / in tags no longer work. And there's this business about crossposting everyting to FB and Twitter. Crap and more crap as far as I'm concerned. I love how informed on all this crap my flist is. :D
I'm lazy and I don't really feel like recoding my tags. If they don't fix that / issue, I'll change it. But I'm sure if enough people complain, they may change it back. If they don't, I'll use a - or x or something. I haven't decided yet. My OCPD traits don't like the idea of not being able to actually use my tags if I have them. :)
As for reposting... I don't have a Twitter. I don't WANT my FB connected here. I know my LJ is public and possibly some enterprising soul might stalk me. But there is no need to make that an easy task for any random twit trolling my journal. I hate how cluttered up it makes my screen, too. So yay for Greasemonkey scripts on my Firefox. There's a nice little tool called DisConnect that gets rid of that crap. Because it reposts all public entries, all comments (even to locked entries) and I for one don't like that crap.
This is my good deed for the day. Go get rid of it. :)
