The tally for the day

Yays:

• Our new bedroom dressers and living room end table arrived today.
• Finally heard from the moving company.
• Since I found out that there is no real format (or dictation required) from consults, I was able to bang that puppy out today.
• I type fast.

Nays:

• The moving company referred us to the main office. In Texas, I think. So someone has to get back to us... once they're paid. And they only JUST sent in the invoice to the hospital to pay, and it didn't include the inconvenience fee they owe me.
• On call for the rest of the weekend.
• The power had gone out in the middle of an intake this morning. Tho I was on a laptop, the outage must have affected the hospital's server. It froze and eventually crashed the interface program. It only lasted 20 min, but it was long enough to lose everything I was working on. :(

So, all in all, today's balance tips slightly more on the YAY side. Tho, as I've not so jokingly mentioned at work, any day I don't get attacked by my patients is a good day. ;)
