I love weekends. Especially weekends I'm not on call!
I really don't need to write in a new fandom. Really. But possibly because Jay and I have been seeing a lot of X-Men: Evolution on Disney XD lately and have been talking about the X-Men comicverse (especially regarding Kitty Pryde's timeline) this could be why my brain decided to come up with a lovely little Kitty/Lance PWP scene. That I really want to write. ::facepalm:: It's not even entirely because they're what I reference when I write Hogwarts-era Katie/Marcus, tho that prolly helps. (Marcus in my head is taller and has bigger teeth, tho) They're just adorable on the cartoon. I think snarky on/off relationships are totally my bulletproof ship type.
Anyway, the weather outside is gorgeous. We started finally getting around to clearing out the yard. Well, as much as we could do with Maddy climbing up and down on the deck stairs and toddling and falling down on the uneven grass. But one third of the yard is done in two hours' time (mostly Jay), the house is swiffed and vacuumed, and some of the mildewy areas are sprayed. We also started boxing up the winter gear to store in the basement. So we've got a good start on the spring cleaning.
And at 3 today, we'll head out to Vicky and Vera's for a pot luck party. They're just happy to be grandmas, and want to see Maddy again. As well as the other fellows' babies if they show up. It should be a good day. :)
