playing catchup

You know those days where you want there to be 30 hours? I could use a few of those. :D
Last week I did pretty good, no more 8pm days. Tuesday last week we went to a bridal show at Bloomie's. Did you know they hand out a bag o' swag? We got a photo album, fridge magnets, place card holders, thank you notes and a separate bag of registry ads and stuff. So I think we have most of the major things down between Macy's and Bloomie's. Bedding, towels and luggage and things like that we'll do next year, closer to the date.
Friday I went to a drug rep dinner where the speaker was the same attending I did research with. so now i'll be working on an introduction to their research paper, because now they're on the paper phase. woo! a first year with some research xp! I'm also working on the case study, but the discussion part of the case study is where i suck. that, and i don't know what his diagnosis is, still. hence, the case study, because the presentation was just wonky.
Saturday = call, then party. Jay felt sick, didn't go. I started my evening with amaretto, had two beers and a mystery shot. i wound up hanging out after the party since i didn't trust myself 100% driving home. after an hour or so, i was a bit better, and drove home okay.
sunday = game. and being ubertired after getting very little sleep. man, my character had so much to do, yet i fell asleep anyway! eep!
this week has been workish stuff. some reading for class, getting stuff done, and transcribing what i've written by hand for my Katrina auction story. all i've got left in it is the smut. i know how this will end, since it's a one shot, and i know what i'll be putting into my next chappie of SB. PE will be written when inspiration hits me. which, given the work I have to do for the scholarly papers, may be a while. and there's the firefly story I want to write.... someday, hopefully soon.
And Friday.... Serenity! Woo!
