Hello there!

I'm glad you like my translations, it's cool to see that there are still people who like Japanese bands and their songs and that my work is still appreciated.
Please feel free to use my translations for subbing your videos.

Oh, and I just found a very old translation of Kuroi Niji on my computer. No idea why I never uploaded it here before, but well...

...here you go:

Kuroi Niji - Black Rainbow
[Lyrics: Gara; music: Yuu; composition: merii]

Maybe it ends here - do you therefore listen to me?
I send you [my words/thoughts]*
They won’t console you, these transient thoughts (which pass away)**

The regretful time of splitting up can always come, even though the one who’s left is beautiful
Being left behind…lost…crying…crying…crying

Ah***, before I break apart the rain falls down
On me only
Before I calm down tears**** flow over, then I sleep quietly

The regretful time of splitting up can always come, even though the one who’s left is beautiful
Being left behind…lost…crying…crying…crying

Ah***, before I break apart the rain falls down
On me only
Before I calm down tears flow over, then I sleep quietly

I’m still broken, I was lonely and sad*****
Staying a “couple” is bad if you “could cry” at the same time
I’m still broken, withdrawn, it’s finally over

Maybe it ends here - do you therefore listen to me

Remarks:

*It’s not defined what’s being sent, but words/thoughts fit into the context
**This constellation is a pleonasm, that’s why I put the last part (which is actually not needed) into brackets
***Gara uses two Kanji in the printed lyrics, the one for “ring”, the other for “exclamation” - he only sings “Ah” in the song though
****Gara uses the Kanji for „tears“ („namida“) but in the song he sings „ame“, „rain“
*****Only one Kanji is being used here, „sabishii“, which carries two meanings, „sad“ and „alone/lonely“ - to make it sound better and more intense, I use both these words in my translation

* * *

I might look at it again and try to come up with a better translation, but this might take some time. I'll see.
