Yup, the field's WIDE OPEN for ya, hon. Let your imagination run wild! I'm not sure how wild it can get with a character like Owen but you've made a believer of me before (you've written Xander/Dawn and made me like it, so I have faith in you.)

I think early season material NOT having to do with Bangel is kind of a wide open field of play anyway.

It's actually not an early season fic bunny. Except for the sole Bangel fic, I don't think I could write anything while Buffy is in high school. It always squicks me out a little thinking of her as underage.

Spuffy with Owen as a player. That's where the bunny is nibbling.

Which is probably why I don't focus on her "ship" in the high school years. (I remember the first time I saw her kissing Angel in the ep of the same name and that little voice in my head wondered "What was the age limit for statutory rape in california at the time this was shot?"
