May I admire you again today?
Pretty in Pink was almost as fun as I'd hoped it would be. The one setback was that the friends we were supposed to go with canceled at the last minute because of school stuff with one of their sons. But it took me back to high school, which was half the point of going, after all. We got to see the commentary about the original ending afterward, with snippets of what was shot. I'd known most of it already, but it was fun to see the actual footage. And for the record, I'm still kind of shipping Steff/Andie. Which I know is weird.
Craig and Alicia are at career night at the high school where Craig is giving presentations on what it takes to get into software engineering. That puts me here at home, trying out Sense8. I've watched two episodes, but I'm still on the fence about it. It's got a ton of actors I love in it, and holy crap, some of these people are pretty, but it all feels rather pointless. More about style than anything real. I'll give it one more episode, and see how I feel then.
I realized on Monday I never finished uploading my long Buffy fics over at AO3. I did Beg the Liquid Red yesterday since it's the shortest, but that still leaves a ton of work to do. The Wanton series, plus seven long stories (which add up to more 1.2 million words just with those). It's daunting, but I want them up there so I'll have to bite the bullet. I see a rewatch in my near future, though. I got sucked into reading Beg as I was posting the other day, and man, I miss this show. I'm overdue to watch it again.
