Question for series readers out there.
I rarely hold onto print books after I've read them. I only do so for books and/or series I love. That probably ends up being about 5% of the print books I read. Otherwise, I trade them to other readers or give them away.
I just finished a book in a series I've been enjoying a lot--so much so that I held onto the first three books with pleasure--but this fourth book left me a little cold. I know I'll never read it again. It just didn't work for me. So now I'm torn about whether or not I should keep it.
On one hand, the thought of having an incomplete series makes my skin crawl.
On the other, the fact that I know I'll never read it--and that I could trade it for something I will--makes me seriously consider putting up with an incomplete series on my shelves.
What would you do?
