I've had a thing for beards lately. I don't know why. I'm not normally a beard kind of gal, though I do like some good scruff.

But seriously, I saw this picture of some guy I don't recognize and I've been obsessed with it:

Colin's scruff really is nice but this random guy is to blame, too! I think the pink cheeks and ear are particularly nice.

The pink cheeks kill me. He's either embarrassed about something or just waking up, and the possibilities there have revved my muse like crazy.

I must be in the wrong demographic, but this guy does nothing for me and I don't know who Colin Morgan is. It's further evidence that "de gustibus non est disputandum".

Colin Morgan played Merlin on the BBC show and was on the second series of BBC's "The Fall" a couple months ago. In all honesty, he didn't do anything for me while I was watching Merlin except show me what a good actor he is. It's only now that he's about to turn 30 and sporting the occasional beard that my opinion is changing.

The thing about this guy...it's about the little things for me. The shy way he's peeking around his arm. The pinkness in his face. That freckle under his eye. I have a feeling that if I saw a full-on shot, I wouldn't be impressed, but the hints that are in this one just completely got me going.
