First day of school, part 2
My first full day without kids again. We were up at 4:45 am this morning because incoming freshmen have a 5:30 breakfast/get-together they can go to, and Alicia wanted to go. I can't believe she's in high school.
After school schedule is not going to be fun. I don't have to pick up Alicia - we live three blocks from the high school, she's walking - but there is something after school every day already, and Alicia hasn't even signed up for any school activities yet outside of marching band. We'll have softball for a few more months yet, too, and Alex will know in a week or two if he made jazz band which practices before school.
I know now why my mom was so excited when I got my driver's license.
