First couple days
I am still tired, lol. Though that's because yesterday was a long day at the park.
Sunday, we went on the airboat and to Gatorland. We wanted something easygoing for our first day, since we knew we'd be doing a park on Monday. Alicia was freaking out a little on the airboat, but it was a ton of fun, plus we got to see more than a couple gators on the lake, including an itty bitty baby one. After, we got to hold one, which the kids and I did. I have pics to prove it, but they need to be scanned in (taking a pic of the pic was just too blurry). I'll probably do a picture heavy post when we get back. Gatorland was all about walking and wildlife, but I forgot to put on sunscreen, so I had a lovely burn to show for it all when we got back.
Yesterday was Hollywood Studios. This time of year, on a Monday, the park was practically empty. The longest we had to stand in line for anything was 15 minutes and that wasn't even for one of the popular rides. The Aerosmith roller coaster? We did it three times back to back, just walking off the exit and then walking around to get on again. I made the mistake of getting a pina colada around 4 which made me sleepy, but then it started raining at 7, and the fireworks got canceled, so since we were tired anyway, we headed home. I crashed just after 10.
My mom arrives this morning, so Craig and I are taking off to pick her up in just a few. We're taking it easy today, just hanging out at the house and relaxing. The kids are likely to spend a lot of time in the pool, lol.
