The kids are done with school, woo hoo! I'd say they're also done with ball, but that's only true for Alex. Today, we learned Alicia made the all-star team for her division, so she's got another three weeks of ball ahead of her. Then on the 30th, she leaves for Santa Cruz University for her three-week engineering program. By the time she gets back, she'll have a week off, then it's back to school.
This weekend also marked us getting a new pool and putting it up. We discovered the one we wanted was on sale at Toys R Us Friday night, and went out at 9pm to buy it. We got up at 7am Saturday to put it all together and start filling. It's going to be a godsend, that's for sure. It was 105 here yesterday and it's not technically summer yet.
I'm re-reading Catching Fire right now. It's my favorite of the Hunger Games trilogy. The problem with reading it, however, is knowing I have to wait until November to see the movie. Damn it.
