It's 1pm already?!? How did that happen? I have no idea where this day has gone. And I haven't done nearly as much as I wanted to, and yet, in half an hour, I have to leave to pick up the kids from school. Since tonight is leftover night for dinner, maybe I can work steadily after they get home.
All of a sudden, it feels like all I do is watch TV, lol. New AI, 24, Leverage, CSIs, Project Runway...last year, we hardly watched anything. This year, it feels like I spend all my time catching up. I still haven't watched last night's 24, since we only watched Sunday's last night, and then Craig wanted to watch Human Target. I had zero interest in it, thank god. Mark Valley leaves me cold. So I was working for the first half, not really paying attention. Until Jackie Earle Haley showed up. Who I think is enormously talented. And a little voice inside me muttered, "Damn it." Because of course, I'll probably end up watching the stupid show, just to see him.
Maybe I'm escaping into television to avoid real life stuff. All these earthquakes happening off the coasts of places are making me nervous. Guatemala had a 6.0, Argentina got a 6.3, Venezuela had a 5.6. They're unsure if these quakes have anything to do with each other at this point, which doesn't help my overactive imagination. Because, hello, live in California. I haven't felt anything like those, but there have been more than a few tremors since I moved here in 2004.
Yeah, escape doesn't seem so bad, lol.
