It's just me and Alex today. Alicia is spending the day with one of her friends and then sleeping over. Which is good because that list of stuff I have to get done got bigger yesterday, lol ( Read more... )

Umm... threaten to make them hide the Easter eggs for the entire county next year? Start looking up hassenpheffer recipes? Buy stock in a carrot farm to keep them satiated? Start playing Elmer Fudd's "Kill the Wabbit" a lot?

Good luck with them :P

If I get something new, I write down as far as the immediate urge goes, then I can leave it again. But it'll drive me nuts until I do that.

I control my plot bunnies by writing down the ideas and ignoring them for a while. I know that doesn't help others, but maybe outlining would help?

when I get a bunny, I write notes about it, or, if it's gone that far, I write whatever amount of it is insisting it must see the light of day. All those bunnies are in one wip folder which I can dip into for inspiration or whatever anytime I find myself with time on my hands and nothing sitting on my desktop that has to be completed to meet a deadline. When I have nothing I have to work on, I can dip into that folder and play with them until something grabs hold of me and wants to be finished or, at least, expanded.

Of course, I'm pretty sure that the number of bunnies/partially done fics that I have would be only a drop in the bucket compared to what you get. lol Not to mention, there's no pressure on me to finish promised books to actual publishers, so I can write or not as I please.
