Sunday! Which means it's time to update! I only wish it wasn't just a transitionary chapter I have to share, lol.

First, however, I have to point something out. Over at darker_spike this week, the art challenge was banners for fic. So like a completely graphic-deficient, greedy writer, I asked for one for Soul. And was so, so, SO blessed with katekat1010 stepping

It's nice to see some honesty between Spike and Buffy - and to see them slowly working their way back to whatever they are going to have eventually. Still confused about the good doctor - is she good, bad, something else entirely? Looking forward to the next update and Angel's explanations.

Gemma's motivations are some of the last planned to be revealed. Angel's explanations in the next chapter will spin the story into the second third of the story. Thank god. The guy has been keeping things too bottled up for too long.

Incredible stuff. I love how you pace this, revealing little bits and pieces at a time and keeping up the suspense without frustrating teh reader. The emotional responses of al teh characters are brilliantly realistic.

Everything just works. masterful writting!

How do you do this? Each chapter brings more answers but also yet more knots and tangles in the whole messy situation and yet still the story has a strong forward momentum. This is very fine work!

i loved Angel and Faith's 'conversation'. Given tha every character seems to ahve at least one secret agenda going on this cross purposes trading of accusations was a delight!

What amused me is that it never even occurred to Angel that they'd be talking about Connor. I love how focused everybody is on themselves and so completely unaware of the bigger picture.
