Aw, crap. Now I'm procrastinating by playing that game the girl in front of me was playing yesterday (The Impossible Quiz -> http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/365143 for all your procrastination needs) and I'm stuck on the damn end of the world question! It's not Australia! WTF? It's not any of the other answers either. Something tricky is going on.
Re: my paper. The bowling team I was doing fieldwork on enacts a lot of superstitions and voices a lot of beliefs that they claim not to believe. This is interesting and all, but I'm a little stuck on the "why do we care?" part. boo.
