Selling yourself is hard work.

You always hear about how schooling doesn't actually help you much with real-world skills and the like, and to some extent I knew that. They really should make all High School seniors take a course - required for graduation - on writing resumes and cover letters, teaching you how to prep for job interviews, and how to sell yourself without being a pompous, misleading ass.

I mean really.

This would be helpful. For so. Many. People. Myself included.

You'd think, what with a bunch of high schools implementing various technical and vocational degrees or head-start options, they might consider making sure theire graduates have this skill that's pretty universal, no matter what you want to do. ::sigh:: Oh well. I guess this is just one of those things that you have to learn for yourself, through trial and error, wading through copious amounts of internets and learning to bullshit your way through everything.

I hate it. So much."Times New Roman";color:#222222">

'Needs must,' I suppose. And I do - need a job. Badly.

Wish me luck with this one!
