GAH.
My Art Skillz have Epic Race!Fail guys.
In my last post I had crappy pics of my Doctor Who practice sketches for Emm's Christmas gift, and well, I haven't worked on that any more, but I figured I should get some practice sketches done for Josh's White Collar fanart - yay more people I've not drawn! Well, he told me he wanted a drawing of Jones and Diana. Which I didn't expect from him, being that they aren't the main characters, but that makes me happy because I often have Great Love for sidekicks/secondary characters/probies/tea boys/etc.
So I found a good pic of Marsha Thomason (Diana Barrigan) and attempted said practice sketch.
I failed. Epically. She looks like a white girl with a fro.
It's Awful. I may have to tell Josh to pick something else because this just isn't going to work. ::whimpers:: I mean, the drawing it's self is okay, it just doesn't look like her. At all.
Josh just got home and laughed at me. Told him to pick something else. He may not get anything by Christmas. It may be after. It might even be not at all. The little brat. Naw, I wouldn't actually do that to him. I joke and threaten, but I wouldn't actually follow through.
I can't believe I only have the rest of today and two more days to work on stuff for Christmas. I have soooo much to do. I have no gifts done for my family, my room is not decorated, and I've been a lazy bum and not actually done almost all of my Shit What Needs Doing Over Break list. This is me. Dead Week and Finals were like the first half. The last week and a half are like the second half. The time on the clock in the last panel is pretty accurate too. >.<
