I'm new! and need advice!
Hi guys, I just found the community and I think its great! I'm graduating from college next Friday (yay!) and since I don't have a job, my rooomate lotusblosum and I are going to Europe for about 40 days starting May 24th!
We're starting in Berlin (because her parents live there) then taking a train to Venice and spending the rest of our time in various cities in Italy. We haven't booked any hostels or anything because we don't know when we'll be arriving in the cities or really which ones we want to go to, yet.
Anyone been to Italy and can give me some tips? Where to stay, cool cities to go to, fun sites to see, fun bars/clubs *we like to drink, remember we're college students!*, safety tips, anything else we should know?
I'm also curious as to how to get to Sicily. Do you take a train from Rome? Is Sicily worth it? We've also got a budget. Mine's not that small, but I'd definately like to shop while I'm there.
