A friend and I have just begun planning a European adventure. Both of us have been multiple times but are trying to tie our interests together. We both have certain cities that we just HAVE to visit, but the problem is that they're spread all over the place, so we're in the process of figuring out transportation.
Here's what we have so far:
1. Rome
2. Venice
3. Amsterdam
4. London
5. Dublin
in that order. Now, the question is whether or not getting a Eurail pass would be worth it, mainly because Venice to Amsterdam seems like a ridiculously long train ride. We would be willing to stop in any places along the way, especially Munich, Luxembourg, and Salzburg. Advice?
