Paris Photos

This Saturday (November 20) Marian and I went to Paris for the day. I have to say that within the past two months I have seen a lot, but nothing as beautiful as Paris. Unfortunetly it was a cloudy/rainy day so the pictures did not turn out as great as I thought. But here are the photos from my camera of Paris. Be checking back with in the next few days and I will load the pictures from Marians camera.

Here's me on my first speed train ride on our way to Paris. As you can see I am having the traditional European breakfast - Cola Light with chocolate muffins.

Here's a picture of the train station in Paris. While on a tour bus I heard that they actually re-modeled the train station to be more beautiful on the outside so that when the Queen arived, she could be in a more luxurious train station.

I actually took this picture for Wayne. Old England used to be a bar where the Beattles were discovered in. They played there for 3 weeks straight right before they became famous world wide.

This is a photo of the oldest Opera Theater in the world.

A photo from the general square in Paris. Every road contains shopping of some sort.

I forgot what this building is... does anyone want to help me out?

Here is the Louvre. The building that contains the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, and thousands of other statues and paintings. The big glass triangle was part of Leonardo De Vinci's ideas. You enter the Louvre by walking into the triangle.

My first view of the Eiffel Tower. This picture was taken from the Louvre parking lot.

Marian and I outside the Louvre.

Some of the Greek Statues over 1000 years old.

Me with a bunch of statues in the Louvre.

I am not sure who this statue was of, but it is the oldest statue in the Louve. 2,000 years BC.

The ceilings in the Louvre contained old paintings that they took and preserved from old ancient buildings.

The Painting Hallway. It went on for miles.

Photo of outside the Louvre from inside.

The Mona Lisa

Me with the Mona Lisa. It looks like I'm standing alone, but really I had to walk through about 400 people just to get to the front.

Here she is! The front and back of Venus De Milo.

Here's a beautiful photograph of the Seine River in Paris. In the background is the Eiffel Tower and the city of Paris.

Notre Dame. The most beautiful Cathedral in the whole world.

Paris's Palace.

The Eiffel Tower. By the time we got there it was raining.

Up close.

Me with the Eiffel Tower.

Another one.

As we were leaving they turned the night-lights on. It looked really beautiful.
