Great b-day already!

May 27, 2010 10:48

I've had some boring and some downright yucky b-days...this is one is turning out to be wonderful already!!

Many thanks to the karaoke krew from last night (each time I edit this list, LJ gets unhappy with the coding. We'll try a line by line, alpha list instead...):
2sick2pray
droidboy010101
stircrazy09
tazira
tommx
tompurdue
wondermojz
and whole bunch of others.
Apparently, I have been quite bad at updating my f-list so I'm missing tons of folks who were there last night. I'll stalk you via email and FB instead to get your LJ handles, but it was great to see you, too!

And a special thanks to those who yelled out "Happy Birthday!" right at midnight during a musical break in my attempt to squeak out Tori and then sang to me afterwords. (Mike D., when it turns to 9:01pm in CA this Friday, I will scream HAPPY BIRTHDAY for you, too. Go Geminis! We're totally nuts.) Anyway, I had a wonderful time. I got to sing some Heart, Tori, and Miley Cyrus (yes, most of you are VERY happy you missed that) and drink a ton of Shirley Temples. (BTW, when you drink that much of any beverage, no matter how much you dance it off, you should avail yourself of the facilities before the 40 minutes drive home. Just sayin'...)

When I got in to work this morning, I was still awake (which is quite a feat that may not continue through the day). There were two cards, a couple of e-greetings, and a caramel treat already waiting for me. But even more than that, one of the cards contained coupons for a pizza chain that is starting to sell gluten-free pizzas. I love that my co-worker thought of me when she got the flyer! (Just like the youngest cousin on my mom's side who calls me every time she finds a new GF item in the grocery store. Every. Time. It's so cute.)

Add that to the wonderfulness of my choir from Tuesday (which included LOTS of GF food and a very surprising gift), and it's been a great b-day so far and it's barely 11am.

Thank you, everybody!!!!

birthday wishes, karaoke
