I visited the church of the Patriarchate ( roughly the equivalent of the Pope for the Orthodox Church in Romania) but the Patriarch was not there, but the Bishop who was next in line was so we got to see them and get blessings, which was nice. We didn't catch too much of the Liturgy because we got lost on the way there and ended up at another church. The church itself was beautiful, I'll put up some pictures maybe sometime. They also had the tombs of the first two Patriarchs of Romania.
I also went with my grandma and my boy cousin to the Darvarii Monastary, which is in downtown Bucharest, but it's a nice little walled oasis. I bought some small things at the store and the young monk selling stuff was really funny!! He was telling everyone his opinion. "that one's not nice, it's for children, I think this one's nicer". Really cool guy. There were these little vials with "Holy soil from Jerusalem" and my grandma was all, "oooh wow, holy soil" and the monk was like, "eh, you can't believe everything you read, it's soil from Jerusalem, who knows where they got it from" AHAHA. And my cousin wanted me to buy him a bracelet type thing and the monk was like, bracelets are for girls, do you see ME wearing a bracelet? Lol so he recommended a prayer robe instead (which is like a bracelet with beads that helps you pray.
