Weird travelling dream.
I had a dream this morning I went to France and forgot my camera. I was wandering the streets of Paris looking for somewhere to stay (since I hadn't planned in advance) and I found this guy who let me sleep on a divan in the lobby of his parents' hotel. And in the lobby there was a decorative pond of sorts, which had GIANT turtles in it, and one of the turtles kept alternating between being a turtle and being a huge shaggy white dog that I liked to pet. Yeah, weird eh? Anyway then after sleeping one night there I decided I wanted to support the kind people and actually stay at their hotel (which was really colourful!) for real, and they showed me this restaurant-menu type price list which had $25 per night as the cheapest thing so I took that. Then I went out on a bike ride in Paris, which was like a big swamp-land and at first I was just riding through the water but then I started to be able to ride on top of it so that was pretty wicked. Then I met up with a large group of bikers and rode along. The whole time though I was thinking that I wished I'd brought my camera. Then I woke up.
