After leaving the monkey park, we continued to explore Arashiyama.
This temple was close by, and is quite famous for its beautiful gardens.
The sakura just weren't quite ready to come out yet.
As luck would have it, the temple exit is connected directly to the bamboo forest, which is where we wanted to go next.
This was the first time I've been here when it was actually sunny, so I got some pretty decent shots.

Next was Kinkaku-ji, which, per usual, was packed.
Last up for the day was the movie village. A bit of a tourist trap, but fun all the same.
We kind of had to rush through this, since the park was closing in an hour.
And after that, it was back to Gion to relax.
