We are happy to be there. We discovered a new place, which most people don’t know.
And what you can tell us about yours first impressions of our city?
Honestly before I’ve came here, I thought that Russia was not a very safe place. You know Russian mafia and stuff. All these Russian guys have 2 guns, and in every film one of two Russian guys always dies. But here we saw a lot of policemen. So know we can say that Russia is the safe place.
Did you have an opportunity to go sightseeing?
Yes, we saw Kremlin, The Lenin Square and the Swan Lake. We liked it.
What robot did you bring here?
Its name is Wilbur.
And what does it mean?
It’s just a popular name in Belgium. You know “Maxim” in Russia. So “Wilbur” is the equivalent of “Maxim”. Actually every second guy has this name; it is used like a Second name also.
So you are all brothers?
Yes, kind of.
All of you are united by robotechnique, right?
We are all in the same trouble. You know when you are in the same sinking ship you have to row together.
We acquainted our self with your robot but we don’t know anything about its characteristics?
It has 2 wheels, which helps him moving. It’s also got a camera - to detect the location and also there are three gears to grip pick up and carry the pawns.
But do you have some special details? The design? Technologies? May be solar batteries?
No, we use regular batteries. But we have an up-to-date camera.
And does it have some special signals or sounds?
The song! Our robot has the song! It’s making song while moving the pawns!

They all look very strong. But as soon as you see our robot you’ll understand that we are the best. But according to the name of the robot you can see that we are here for the happiness not only for the victory.
Do you have your special way to the victory?
It’s a secret! We just bring a lot of beer for the referee. No, actually our robot doesn’t just follow the directions. It thinks before doing something. The robot will choose what to do. So we hope for taking good points. But this is only the theory.
And what about the others capacities of your robot?
It can take the pawns, carry them, detect the locations and look around.
Is this the first time you take a part in ‘EUrobot”?
No this is our fifth’s year.
Well and what about the results?
We are increasing. Last year we were ninth’s. This year all teams are very strong. And we are glad to be here and take part in this competition, and we expect to win.
