Beltane

Was pretty much as expected. Far, far too many people to see anything much. A selection of them being annoying for various reasons (the ones who wander around just before the procession and try to squeeze in infrount of those who've been waiting for ages particuarly spring to mind) W edid however get a full frountal view of the red men and women while standing outside the first aid place. It was also a day of serendipitous meetings. Originaly myself, intemporaliter and red_red_rose set out to head over. While on the way we were called by Andy, a friend of Sarah and Fraggles who had decided to go at the last minuite and wanted to meet up with us. A little further down the road we met craigoxbrow who was also heading there alone, so he joined the group. Our final addition was webrat_jen who bounced up to us not long after arriving and wasn't allowed to leave. All this made it rather hard to answer a random French girl who asked how we knew each other, the basic answer being 'Errmmmm... We just sort of do...' We left a little early because the flashing cameras were doing bad things to kit (hence the first aid and red men) and also because by that point Jen's rain dance had started to work. Managed to be out early enough to miss most of the crowd. Owe big thank yous to Andy and Jen for forging ahead to a taxi rank, grabbing us one and bringing it back to where we were.
