Nationals
Nationals are over. Played two very nearly systemless games. Both lived up to the title of 'True Random' very well. I may steal one to run at some point. Although I have some interesting modifications in mind... Was in a group with the category winner and runner up from last year and Big Bad John. Surprisingly enough I didn't place... Evenings were a lot of fun. met many interesting people. Got to know Scott who played in my game at Conpulsion properly. Am also sliding further down the abandon Watt-Gamers and join GEAS path. They went to the pub and socialised. Most of our team went out once. Largely because Sarah bounced at them and dragged them out. Still had much fun over all.
The team got some points from wargaming and boardgames, but nothing at all from Roleplaying, so we didn't come too high up the rankings. However. First were Bradford, who don't want to run again next year. So it's been farmed out. To Edinburgh! Yay! The Nationals will be run by GEAS and Watt-Gamers next year!
