Progress to Goals:
1. Finish crafting Servo. Roughly 75% complete. Making a fully-autonomous robotic organism is hard work.

I'm actually very glad I took the opportunity to subscribe to "D.I.Y. Magazine." It's provided me with a lot of helpful hints and shortcuts. (Plus it's just plain interesting to see what other people have built.)

2. Maximize knowledge of logic via stargazing, chess playing, and related pursuits. 100% completion! I finally felt it all click together while I was stargazing earlier! Perhaps now I can finally convince my employers I'm due for a promotion.

3. Increase knowledge of all other skills. Probably around 60% complete. It's a bit hard to say -- I know I need to seriously work on athletic skills, but I'm doing pretty well with cooking and cleaning.

Not much else to say about my life currently. The weather has been extremely cold lately -- it's been snowing on and off for the past week. (Confusing some of the local fauna, incidentally -- I'd swear to Newton I saw BUTTERFLIES fluttering about in the flurries the other day.)

It's been a good week to stay in, work on the robot and my skills, and amuse myself with magazines. ". . .And Microphones" is actually a fairly fascinating publication. Their recent article on the sound waves produced by varying types of guitar was very thorough.

Not that I'm a complete shut-in -- I still talk to Melody regularly, and my friend Jeannie called me up just the other day. Turns out she's an editor on the magazine, saw my name on the new mailing list, and wanted my opinion. She's quite the nice conversationalist.

Still, my driving passion as of late is my robot, so. . . .
