Yeah I didn't want to stereo-type, but I too was pleasantly surprised that a Texas boy would take that stance.

Dallas isn't as bad as I thought it was going to be? But gay people here seem to be in the closet and I feel kind of odd here. I haven't seen those yet? I'll look them up tomorrow morning.

I just met someone who had moved to Dallas after living in Chicago. He said Chicago was way more open and gay-friendly. But he said the place had started to grow on him just before he left.
