SO ya'll have all seen this
photo from
the Merlin's Keep fansite. And we all know what this means, right? Colin likes to film his 'boyfriend'....Bradley likes filming things as well. So somewhere out there, there exist the real video diaries and I want them. .
(Plus something about the way Colin is slouching in that chair in the photo really does something to me.)
Also, here is why I agree with others and am really looking forward to seeing more sexual tension between Arthur and Merlin this season.
I've only skimmed the outlines for the episode (I do want to have some small surprises), but it seems to me we're going to get an aspect of the M/A relationship back that has been missing since almost 1x01.
In many reviews of 2x01, people have been saying there is a lot of manhandling and maybe even a regression in the M/A relationship.
Now while I don't want a relationship with a stark imbalance (Merlin all submissive and Arthur all command-y and inconsiderate), I am looking forward to their dealings with each other having a bit more of an edge.
I absolutely loved in "Dragon's Call" when they met in the market and Merlin called Arthur "my Lord" in that lovely mocking, slashy way of his, and Arthur subsequently fighting him.
However, that edge went away almost immediately after the pilot episode. Sure Merlin became his manservant and he didn't really start treating Arthur with the respect the prince thinks is due to him, but something was lost.
So if we get some more sniping and manhandling (from both sides, especially when Merlin becomes more confident in who he his) this year, I will be a very happy fangirl.
Of course I still want those lovely moments like the talk on the ramparts in 'Moment of Truth' as well, but more of a dangerous edge to their relationship would mean loads of sexual tension.
And here is something else I'm obsessing about.
Ya'll just don't know how bad I have it for this man. And yes with all the dirt and blood, just like that.
What is is with all these blond men??????
ALSO SPN TONIGHT!!!!!
ETA On a serious note: I hope all is well with Colin! *worries* I hope the BBC is just being extra protective with him and he is not badly hurt or seriously ill.
