That was heartbreaking!
(I still maintain, that young!Sammy and young!Dean looked like they had more than a four-year age gap. Even if Dean was 16 and Sam a tiny 12-year-old.)
But how cute was ittybitty Sammy! My heart was breaking for him and our Sam. The story of how much two of his classmates suffered was just plain heartbreaking.
Loved how both Deans were all big brother protective (although I don't know how I feel about the actor who played young!Dean...young!Sam actor wrapped circles around him)
The side story with the teacher giving Sam advice was a nice touch. *feels all wistful*
We haven't seen the Sam-wants-a-normal-life plot for a long time. Feels like oldschool SPN.
And heh to the 21 Jumpstreet and The Dead Poet Society shout-outs.
Dean soooo could've been Tom Hanson (Johnny Depp's character for the younguns).
And I lol'ed how the blonde chick figured out how Dean can only be all lovey dovey and caring with his Sammy. Bro-yay!
Dean was so hot in the shorts and the red jogging suit. Wish we'd had PE teachers like that back in the day.
One complaint though....WHERE WAS JDM? This would have been perfect for a wee cameo.
