"That Black-bean Salmofu Thing"

Jan 22, 2007 20:19

I LOVE TO COOK!! I hate cleaning up after - but it's soooooo good.
I'll post this on live journal too.

Anyways

Salmon chunks
2 table spoons of Black Bean Sauce (find it in the international section)
Bit of oil
pepper
Bit of warm water
Chopped garlic and ginger
Parsley flakes (sprinkle as much as you want) - or chopped parsley...
Chopped tofu (about 1/2 a package cubed)
Cooked rice or noodles

Heat pan up with bit of oil (stove on high), add garlic and ginger.
Once garlic browns, toss in fish chunks, flipping their sides occasionally. After about 5 minutes - Sprinkle lots of black pepper.
Add black bean sauce, and a bit of warm water to help dilute it a bit.
Sprinkle the parsley flakes.
Once fish is mostly cooked - doesn't take long! - add tofu chunks and cover for about 3 minutes.
Serve with rice or noodles.

**You can probably add some vegetables - if it were chicken/beef or pork. I liked it just tofu with salmon....**
