(no subject)
Madeline's in the bathtub, playing with her rubber toys. She tosses the turtle out of the tub, then the tiger. Next she grabs the little purple shark. She knows a lot of words, and learns them quickly, but for some reason the word "shark" hasn't really stuck. Usually she announces that the little purple shark is a turtle, or maybe an alligator. Tonight she holds it up and looks at me.
"Zucchini."
I try very hard not to completely crack up.
I suppose the little shark does have about the same proportions as the wooden zucchini that's part of the vegetable collection for her kitchen set.
