(no subject)
It's the time for yet another "wait, what were their ages again?"-moment. This time, I'll show you example pictures from different anime series.
First off, junior high schoolers! From-the-series-that-everyone-and-their-mothers-know, Prince of Tennis! They're 3th year students. In junior high school. They play tennis. In junior high school.
Then we have some high school boys from Ookiku Furikabutte. These guys are first years. In high school. They play baseball. In high school. Yeah. High school.
And then some more high school boys, from Cromartie High School. They're first years, too. They.. well, they're delinquents, but they tried to play baseball! For. Like. Two or three episodes, but then they got bored and forgot the whole thing. Did I mention that they're in high school? Yeah, I think I did.
So. In PoT, those guys are 12-14. In Oofuri, they're.. uh.. I dunno, 14-16? I've never really paid any attention to their age. Anyway. In Cromartie, they're 16. So, I'm just wondering.. why the hell do PoT guys still look older than the guys in Cromartie? It doesn't really matter, since they're from totally different series, but.. I just had this one wonderful cross-over dream where Cromartie guys decided to go to Koushien (aka play baseball for realz) and encountered Nishiura. They lost, of course, since having a gorilla, a robot and an older random half-naked non-japanese guy in your team isn't exactly following the rules. After that disqualification they decided to try something ~new~.. yes, tennis. I'm.. not going into details there, but they had a match against Rikkai. Freddie vs Yukimura was a beautiful, beautiful match.
I.. I was going to say something else too, but I forgot what it was. I got these horrible traumatic wonderful and beautiful flashbacks of that dream and forgot everything. I need some brainbleach asap. D:
ps. Cromartie High School was actually good. A+. Shall read the manga soon-ish.
