Well now children, what, you may ask, has got this young lady all so jolly?
Many things, I tell you, but first and foremost is the fact that I'm online, in my pyjamas, on my settee, on my housemate's laptop...Yes, I'm connected to the interweb! At home! I can post, and read lj, without the 'Access Denied' nonsense at work. I realise that this is like, basic, to everyone else, but for me , this is very exciting. I am, in fact, very excited. *!!!*
And! I am now not only online, I am online in my new house! (flat) Just around the corner from my old flat, so still in the same lovely area, but this time with a large roof terrace overlooking the heath! Moving in was interesting, as we were all really frankly obnoxiously hungover, but hey, with the help of the the unfailing and courageous card0, it was achieved with the minimum of blasphemy, blood and tears.
And! erm... well lots of things, really. Learning to tango, getting to grips with work, lovely housemates...basically, something really crap is surely just around the corner, but until then, I'm a happy camper. I don't think I could have said that this time last month, when I was waking up at 4am, fretting and stressing, snapping and bawling, generally behaving as though the fate of the world was resting on my shoulders instead of my little bit of it. So, no complaints for now.
