Here at last! And it's hot, damp, beautiful, the sun is shining, the flat is air-conditioned....haven't even tried the pool yet, but I'm looking forward to it.
I am never coming back. No, not even for snow, icey winds, ridiculous licencing laws, filthy public transport, the opportunity of being knifed by my mugger of choice more or less anywhere.
No goths though. I did see a really quite tall chinese girl in swathes of black chiffon, and lace, but she was more of the ab-fab kind of black chiffon, not a graveyard/cider and black kind of black chiffon. So I may have to rethink this.

But not for another 8 days! Hurrah! I shan't do the whole 'and on saturday we went to china town and on that evening we went...' nonsense, but it shall suffice for me to say that I'm having a simply marvellous time, and intend to bore you all in person.
