guess what the girl has spent her day doing?
photocopying court bundles with thousands of tiny, teeny, fiddley bits of foolscap paper, which have to be unstapled, photocopied, re-stapled, put back into place, with the copies stapled, hole-punched, blah, blah, blah...
i'm so glad i've spent 4 years and approximately £25k on an education that has prepared me for the intellectual rigours of a life chained to a photocopier. in a basement. ever wonder why i'm so much in favour of weather, any weather? the stale, dry, slightly malodorous air in this non-ventilated basement.
ho well, at least it pays, and not that badly, or at least enough to not have to beg for my pennies. and it's not exactly demanding, but i would eventually like to have a demanding job. *sigh*
anyway, the odd mood i've been having has dissipated, so i'm feeling a little relieved. the more i post, the more i am reminded of my writing style, which is a little tabloid, really, isn't it? as though the way i think is really held in short bursts of caustic and not-necessarily interesting blather, which could be held as true by some people. hence the tag 'euphuistica', which is a derivative of the word euphuistic, meaning to speak in an affected and pretentious manner.
