So I graduated, more or less, from Sac State. With a something Kum Laude or whatever 3.5+ GPA's get. I didn't walk because I didn't do anything I was proud of. Walking for that effort I think, is a lot like putting an honor-roll bumper sticker on your car. Plus, techichally, I am not offically done - I still have to write a paper to turn an I into an A, but I'll get to it sometime this summer.
Finishing school was like killing one head of the hydra beast that is my life. For the past two months or so, I've replaced school busy work with work-busy work and commander stuff and some much needed sleep.
I'm trying out for some civilian government type jobs, my goal is to work at OES here in Sac. I am sure I will end up there once I crawl through the government machine. I am also considering checking out an Air Force run Space Operations Center in Santa Barbara; we'll see. If I stay in Sac, I've decided I will rent a loft on J street so I can have a pool table, my projector, upgraded entertainment system, etc, all put to proper use within a secure living area within walking distance of everything significant downtown.
I haven't found any deployments that I'd like to go on from California. Some other states are doing more interesting missions, but I really don't want to go with people from Alabama, Georgia, Missouri or anywhere but a coastal state, so I will wait till something good comes along.
So now I have time for some fun again! Thurs, Fri, Sat nights are usually good if I get notice in advance. Grant and Alyssa - we have to finish SOM - sorry for the long delay!
