Feilong-lookalike Contest (sorta): Actors who reminds me of Feilong
I was thinking about how some actors in certain roles remind me of Feilong, and bam! Here comes this contest!
I actually have several actors in particular roles in mind, so I guess my first three choices are my entries into the contest? Nonetheless, let's just enjoy the nice pictures!
My reasons for picking these are:
1. Chinese period movies/TV shows usually have male characters in long hair, although brushed back;
2. I pick actors who are considered having "pretty" features more than "handsome", and who are classically beautiful;
3. I pick actors who tend to look "naturally" beautiful (so no heavy makeups);
4. I pick actors who although having pretty features, still manage to look manly/warrior-like;
5. I pick tall and slender ones (like our dragon!).
Choice #1: Character Liu Xianglian from "Dream in the Red Chambers" (1987 version) played by Actor/Opera Singer Hou Chang Rong
(The character Liu (means "willow" not the same as Feilong's name) has a personality fairly similar to Feilong. He once beat up a guy who dared to molest him because he's pretty but then later became friends with the same guy when this dude helped him.)
The actor was picked to play the main character of the classic novel, but he was too tall for the role (over 180cm), whose age range is around 14-16.
(He existed the novel and story by becoming a Taoist monk.)
(The guy in blue robe is also pretty but unfortunately he doesn't remind me of Feilong. The actor is very pretty though. This TV version is very well-made).
Choice #2: General Han from the movie "The Sacrifice" played by Actor Huang Xiaoming
I usually consider this actor to be more "handsome" than pretty, but somehow in this movie he looks pretty to me...
(later the General got his face sliced and became disfigured...)
Choice # 3:
Here comes long-haired Hong Kong Mafia boss from actual Hong Kong movies!
They do exist!
Actually this character is one of the most iconic Mafia Boss characters of HK cinema.
Character Chan Ho-nam, from the movie series "Young and Dangerous", played by actor Ekin Cheng.
I personally consider the actor and the character to be more handsome than pretty, but how can you resist some real famous long-haired Hong Kong Mafia Boss?

I forgot the name of this, but the character is a young swordsman who got betrayed and then climbed his way back on the top while embarking on a revenge story-line.
(He's probably also more handsome than pretty).
