Things are going to get really fucked in the next 20 years. Here is what I predict.
2009: minimum wage increase set to be 7.25, will result in massive layoffs and further technological automation of simple jobs. Unemployment will rise.
2010: Housing market will decline, as result of massive housing development sprawls (excess supply, limited demand). Death of baby boomer generation will flood market with further available housing.
2012: End of Mayan calander, end of Hindu Kali Yuga, 'end' of Chineese Calander (infinite novelty reigns). Something will happen.
2023: Oil is depleted. Economy collapses.
2024: Chaos, collapse of society into 2nd Great Depression.
2026: All the religions the US pissed off strike back in our darkest hour.
2027: Mutually assured destruction.
