I don't think so. Only if you don't use your communicator. If you don't want to be shocked again, you'll have to use it more often -- or remember to guard your hands with something like a piece of cloth if this happens again.
They're quite enigmatic -- I don't believe I've ever seen one, either. They occasionally make entries on the network, so we know they're there, but they rarely answer questions or requests.
I'm afraid not. I do know that one of the scientists is friendlier than the others -- her name is Ace. I don't believe we've heard from her in quite some time, though.
